  • The Road to Russia 2016

    Over the past few years my career and sport have taken me to some really great places and allowed me to have some awesome experiences. It started in 2011 with my first trip to St. Petersburg, this was the trip that made me fall in love with the city.  It really should be a bucket list city on everyone’s list.  For the next few years I stayed stateside as the sport grew in The West and I gained platform experience.   • IKFF Kettlebell Sport Worlds

    This past weekend I participated in the IKFF Kettlebell Sport Worlds and as always the IKFF, namely Ken Blackburn put on a great competition.  Many great lifters and some really impressive performances. Leading up to the competition my training had been going great and I felt ready.  I had decided to do this kettlebell competition only about 3 weeks prior. See, I’m training for the IUKL World Championship in Hamburg, Germany and I noticed that the pattern of my training cycle would have me doing a 10 minute test set that day.  It made sense to me to just go to the competition, do it on the platform (more…)
